Jim Boyd Memorial Scholarship

 

 

Awards available

 

One (1) $2,000.00* renewable scholarship (up to 4 years)

One (1) $1,000.00 one-time award

One (1) $750.00 one-time award

Two (2) $500.00 one-time awards

 

The scholarships are available to all AFSCME Council 24 members (ac­tive or retired) and/or their IRS defined dependents (including those of deceased members) who are high school seniors or a current student pursu­ing an Associate or Baccalaureate degree on a full-time basis at a 2 or 4 year accredited institution of higher education.

Please include the following information. Student’s name, address, and rela­tionship to member, member’s name, full address, and local union number

 

Applications must be requested by February 15th  and returned (postmarked) no later thai1 March 1, 2002.1

Decisions will be made by April 15, 2002.
